RAJOURI, Aug. 17 -- Two persons were killed and four others injured after an Eeco vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge in the Kandi Mohra area of Kotranka subdivision in Rajouri district on Sunday, officials said.

Officials said six persons were travelling in the vehicle when the accident occurred on the Kandi Mohra road. The injured were rescued and shifted to a nearby health facility, where they were provided first aid before two of them were referred to a higher medical centre for specialised treatment.

The deceased were identified as Khadam Hussain and Shamim Akhter.
