Jammu, May 3 -- Traffic movement remained slow on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway on Saturday, while several other routes across Jammu and Kashmir were either closed or operating partially due to adverse conditions and ongoing road works, officials said.

According to Traffic Police Headquarters, slow movement was reported on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) due to single-lane traffic between Marog and Kishtwar Pather, along with the breakdown of a heavy motor vehicle near Kishtwar Pather. Movement of nomadic herds between Nagrota and Banihal also contributed to congestion.
