Srinagar, July 1 -- Police on Tuesday announced certain restrictions on the movement of tourists towards and from Gulmarg during the Yatra perid.

"In order to ensure the safe, secure and seamless movement of Amarnath Yatra convoys and to facilitate effective traffic management during the Yatra period, Baramulla Police advises all tourists and visitors intending to travel to Gulmarg to strictly comply with the traffic restrictions notified by Traffic Headquarters, Kashmir," a police spokesperson said in a statement.
