Srinagar, Nov. 1 -- Three separate delegations called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in Srinagar on Sunday and raised issues concerning promotion reservations for specially-abled employees, environmental conservation, and youth and women empowerment.

A delegation of the All Jammu and Kashmir Specially-Abled Employees Association met the Lieutenant Governor and highlighted the issue of reservation in promotions for eligible Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs) in the Union Territory.

The delegation sought attention to the concerns of employees with benchmark disabilities regarding their entitlement to reservation in promotions.
