Anantnag, June 14 -- Senior Superintendent of Police Anantnag Amod Ashok Nagpure on Friday conducted a comprehensive review of security arrangements at key locations in the Pahalgam sector ahead of the forthcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY-2026).

During the visit, the SSP inspected the frisking point at Nunwan, Nunwan Base Camp and Sarbal Bridge, besides reviewing the ongoing repair and construction works of the Joint Police Control Room (JPCR).

He also assessed the installation and functioning of CCTV surveillance systems and reviewed overall security and pilgrim-facilitation arrangements at the identified locations.
