SRINAGAR, Oct. 22 -- The Under Trial Review Committee (UTRC) Srinagar on Thursday reviewed four cases of undertrial prisoners lodged in Central Jail Srinagar and recommended two for consideration under the applicable guidelines.
The meeting was chaired by Principal District and Sessions Judge Srinagar and District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Chairman Naseer Ahmad Dar. It was attended by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Senior Superintendent of Police Srinagar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Secretary DLSA Srinagar, Superintendent Central Jail Srinagar and the public prosecutor of the Principal District and Sessions Judge's court.
