Srinagar, July 5 -- Hot and humid conditions persisted across Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, with temperatures remaining above normal at most places, while the Meteorological Department (MeT) forecast a wet spell across the Union Territory from Sunday.

According to data accessed by Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Srinagar recorded a maximum temperature of 34.0 degrees Celsius, 4.4 degrees above normal, while the minimum settled at 20.0degC, which was 2.7 degrees above normal.

Qazigund recorded a maximum of 32.8degC and a minimum of 18.2degC, while Pahalgam registered 26.9degC and 14.5degC. Kupwara recorded 33.5degC, Kokernag 30.9degC, Gulmarg 24.4degC, Banihal 31.2degC, Batote 28.2degC, Katra 34.0degC and Bhaderwah 31.4degC.
