SRINAGAR, June 24 -- The Higher Education Department has announced the Spot Round for Undergraduate and Integrated PG admissions in Government Degree Colleges across Jammu and Kashmir for the academic session 2026-27 to fill vacant seats left after the completion of Round-II admissions.
According to the notification, the Spot Round will be conducted through two parallel streams. Courses with substantial vacancies have been placed under the Walk-in Admission category, while admissions to other programmes will be made through Round-III/Direct System Allotment on the Centralised Admission Portal, based on 10+2 merit, candidate preferences, eligibility and seat availability.
