Budgam, July 19 -- Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather on Saturday visited Pakherpora in Budgam district to meet families affected by a recent fire incident and directed the district administration to ensure immediate relief, assess the damage and expedite rehabilitation measures.
According to an official statement, Rather interacted with the affected families, expressed grief over the incident and assured them of all possible support.
He directed the administration to conduct a comprehensive assessment of damage to residential houses, household belongings and other property to accurately determine the extent of losses.
