Budgam, June 1 -- Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Abdul Rahim Rather on Sunday inaugurated a New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC) at Challyan in the Charar-e-Sharief constituency, describing it as a significant step towards strengthening healthcare infrastructure in the area.

The Speaker said the new health facility would substantially improve medical services and bring quality healthcare closer to the local population.

Following the inauguration, Abdul Rahim Rather addressed a large public gathering and highlighted the government's developmental initiatives and welfare programmes aimed at improving the socio-economic conditions of the region.
