Srinagar, July 20 -- Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) Commissioner Faz Lul Haseeb on Monday conducted an extensive tour of waterlogging-prone areas across the city to assess the situation following persistent rainfall and review dewatering and emergency response measures.
Accompanied by Joint Commissioner (Administration) Nuzhat Qureshi, Executive Engineers of the Drainage Circle and other senior officials, the Commissioner inspected Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar, Eidgah, Khanyar, Hari Singh High Street (HSHS) and other vulnerable locations.
