Srinagar, Oct. 4 -- Police and security forces on Saturday conducted a high-intensity anti-grenade lobbing mock drill at Kralgund Market in Handwara to assess and strengthen operational preparedness and inter-agency coordination in responding to emergencies in populated areas.
The exercise was carried out jointly by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Handwara Police, 32 Rashtriya Rifles, 47 Assam Division of the Army and 92 Battalion of the CRPF. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Handwara supervised the drill.
