JAMMU, April 16 -- Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Information Technology, Youth Services & Sports, Satish Sharma today chaired a meeting to review the supply and distribution of petroleum products, with emphasis on operations managed by the Indian Oil Corporation.
During the meeting held at Narwal office of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), the Minister had a comprehensive review of the current availability of petroleum products, supply chain logistics and distribution mechanisms across various districts. He emphasized the need for maintaining uninterrupted supply and directed the officials to ensure close coordination with the oil companies for adequate stock level and timely replenishment.
