The Minister was speaking at the closing ceremony of the J&K Men's Hockey Championship 2026.

Secretary Sports Council, Nuzhat Gul and other senior officers were present on the occasion.

J&K Police emerged victorious in a closely contested final to lift the title, bringing curtains down on a tournament that witnessed participation from 17 teams across Jammu and Kashmir.
