Sat Sharma urges Gadkari to expedite road projects, strengthen highway resilience in J&K
New Delhi, July 28 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir president and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma on Monday met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and sought accelerated road infrastructure development in the Union Territory, with a focus on improving connectivity and tackling landslide-related disruptions.
According to a BJP statement, Sharma highlighted the strategic importance of Jammu and Kashmir and stressed the need to strengthen the road network to support economic growth, tourism, trade, healthcare, education and connectivity in remote areas.
