SRINAGAR, June 24 -- Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo on Tuesday reviewed the functioning of SMHS Hospital and Super Speciality Hospital, Srinagar, with a focus on patient care, healthcare delivery and hospital management.
The meeting was attended by Principal GMC Srinagar, Medical Superintendents of SMHS Hospital and Super Speciality Hospital, heads of various super-speciality departments and other senior officials.
During the review, the Minister assessed diagnostic facilities, availability of medicines and other critical services being provided at the two hospitals. Discussions also focused on the quality of healthcare services, sanitation standards and staff responsiveness.
