Jammu, Nov. 3 -- Minister for Health and Medical Education Sakeena Itoo on Tuesday conducted a surprise inspection of Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu and directed the hospital administration to strengthen emergency services, improve sanitation and ensure prompt treatment of critical patients.
During the visit, the minister inspected various sections of the hospital, particularly the Emergency wing, and reviewed the availability of medical facilities, essential services, patient management arrangements and cleanliness.
She also interacted with patients and their attendants to seek feedback on the healthcare services being provided at the institution.
