Srinagar, Sept. 22 -- The Jammu and Kashmir government has disbursed Rs.3.22 crore in relief to families affected by flash floods and landslides in Rajouri constituency, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah informed the Legislative Assembly.

Replying to a question by Rajouri MLA Iftikhar Ahmed during Question Hour, Abdullah said 149 family-wise cases relating to damage caused by flash floods and landslides had been received by the Rajouri district administration.

He said Rs.40.61 lakh had been disbursed under State Disaster Response Fund norms, while another Rs.2.81 crore had been released from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund and distributed among affected families.
