SRINAGAR, Sept. 25 -- The Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday informed the Legislative Assembly that restoration of infrastructure damaged by flash floods and cloudbursts is underway across the Union Territory, with temporary repairs completed in several affected areas and permanent restoration works in progress.

Replying on behalf of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to a question raised by MLA Shakti Raj Parihar during Question Hour, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary said roads and water supply schemes damaged during 2025-26 have been temporarily restored, while permanent restoration is being carried out.
