Sopore, Aug. 25 -- Residents of Ningli Bala in Tarzoo area of Sopore have urged the administration and Roads & Buildings (R&B) Department to resume work on a long-pending bridge connecting the locality with Sopore town.

Locals said the bridge, being constructed under the NABARD scheme, was halted due to a rise in water levels. However, they claimed that despite water levels receding significantly, work on the project has not resumed, causing inconvenience to residents.
