PREVENTING H1N1 INFLUENZA
Srinagar, Sept. 2 -- There is growing concern about health and safety as influenza viruses, including H1N1, continue to circulate. H1N1 is a subtype of influenza- A virus that primarily causes respiratory illness in humans. The H1N1 virus responsible for the 2009 pandemic has since become part of the seasonal influenza viruses that circulate worldwide. Although influenza is often mild, it can sometimes lead to serious complications, particularly in older adults, young children, pregnant women, and people with underlying medical conditions.
SIGNS & SYMPTOMS
