Power shutdowns to affect parts of Srinagar, Pulwama, Shopian and Anantnag
SRINAGAR, Aug. 7 -- The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in parts of Srinagar, Pulwama, Shopian and Anantnag districts between August 8 and August 16 to facilitate maintenance of 33 kV transmission lines.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, power supply to Industrial Estate BAMK, Raja Colony, Alamgari Bazar, Lal Bazar, Hawal, IE Khrew, Wuyen, cement plants and adjoining areas will remain affected on August 9 due to the shutdown of the 33 kV GIS-BAMK line (8 am to 2 pm) and the 33 kV Pampore-SIDCO line (9 am to 1 pm).
