Srinagar, Nov. 1 -- PULWAMA: Jammu and Kashmir Police have solved a nearly two-month-old fatal hit-and-run case in Pulwama with the seizure of the vehicle involved in the accident and the arrest of its alleged driver.

According to police, the case dates back to September 4, 2026, when an unidentified vehicle hit a pedestrian at Babhar area of Pulwama district, resulting in his death on the spot. The deceased was identified as Inthakab Khan, son of Sheraz Khan, a resident of Rajouri.

Following the incident, the driver allegedly fled the scene under the cover of darkness, leaving behind no immediate clue about the vehicle involved.
