Srinagar, May 18 -- Police on Sunday organised a series of awareness programmes in Baramulla and Awantipora under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan to spread awareness about drug abuse and promote a drug-free society.
In Baramulla, Police Station Chandoosa in collaboration with Government Higher Secondary School Kachu organised a mini marathon aimed at sensitising youth about the harmful effects of drugs and encouraging healthy lifestyles.
Students and staff members participated enthusiastically in the event and raised slogans promoting a drug-free society.
A separate drug awareness programme was also organised at Government High School Nagbal, which was attended by the ZEO Chandoosa, teachers, students and local residents...
