Srinagar, July 26 -- Police have registered a case against a Delhi-based production house for allegedly operating a drone without obtaining the mandatory permission during a film shoot in Srinagar.

Official sources said the production company, T3S Entertainment Private Limited, allegedly flew the drone in violation of the restrictions imposed by the District Magistrate, Srinagar, and without securing the requisite clearance from the police and other competent authorities.

They said the drone was being used for aerial cinematography as part of a film shoot when a police team, during inspection, found it allegedly being operated in contravention of the standing orders regulating drone operations in Srinagar.
