SRINAGAR, Oct. 26 -- Police in five Kashmir districts on Monday organised pledge-taking ceremonies as part of Vigilance Awareness Week-2026, reaffirming their commitment to integrity, transparency, accountability and ethical conduct in public service.
The week-long observance, being held from October 26 to November 1 under the theme "Probity for Prosperity", is being conducted in accordance with the directions of the General Administration Department (GAD), Jammu and Kashmir Government, and the guidelines of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).
