Srinagar, Oct. 19 -- The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held a workers' meeting in Malaratta, Habba Kadal, on Sunday to discuss public issues and mobilise party cadres ahead of its November 2 convention in Srinagar.

The meeting was attended by PDP General Secretary Mohammad Khursheed Alam, former state secretary and Habba Kadal constituency in-charge Arif Laigroo, party spokesperson Zuhaib Yousuf Mir, District Coordinator Dr Ali Mohammad Wani and District Vice President Mohammad Shafi Kundangar. It was organised by Mohammad Sultan Mir.

Addressing party workers, Alam stressed the need to strengthen the party's grassroots network and maintain regular contact with the public to raise their concerns.
