Pulwama, Nov. 1 -- Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Kuldeep Krishan Sidha on Sunday directed strict action against employees found absent from duty during a surprise inspection of Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Pampore, where only one doctor was present when he visited the facility.
The inspection was conducted to assess the functioning of the hospital, attendance of medical and other staff and availability of healthcare services for patients.
Taking serious note of the staff shortage during the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner ordered action against the employees found absent from duty. He also held the Block Medical Officer (BMO), Pampore, accountable for ensuring regular attendance of staff and proper functioning of the hospital.
