Srinagar, March 17 -- All roads lead to Masjids and Shrines all over Kashmir Monday late evening as people observe Shab-e-Qadr (Lailatul Qadr), one of the holiest nights in Islam, and are to pray night-long.
Thousands have assembled at Dargah Hazratbal as devotees from different parts of Kashmir thronged the holy shrine, that houses Prophet's (SAW) holy relic, for night long prayers.
Shab-e-Qadr, also known as the "Night of Power," falls during the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan and holds immense spiritual significance for Muslims.
It is believed to be the night when the first verses of the Holy Quran were revealed to Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
