Srinagar, May 31 -- Ali Mohammad Sagar on Saturday said that Srinagar, as the political, cultural and economic nerve centre of Kashmir, occupies a pivotal place in the development vision of the government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
Sagar made these remarks during a day-long tour of the Brein and Baba Demb areas of the Khanyar Assembly constituency, where he reviewed ongoing development works, assessed civic amenities and interacted with residents.
During the public outreach programme, he met local residents, youth, traders and representatives of various community groups. He also inspected the availability of ration supplies and reviewed the pace and quality of developmental works underway in the area.
