Srinagar, May 17 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday congratulated young Rajouri boxer Mohammad Yasser for winning a gold medal at the Under-15 Asian Boxing Championship held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

In his message, the Chief Minister said Yasser's achievement has brought pride to Jammu and Kashmir and the country, describing it as a reflection of the sporting talent emerging from the region.

He praised the young boxer's dedication, hard work and determination and expressed hope that the achievement would inspire aspiring athletes across Jammu and Kashmir.
