Srinagar, April 29 -- No security clearance shall be granted to individuals found to be associated with drug peddling or narcotics networks, SSP Anantnag has ordered.

He also said that in the verifications related to passports, government employment, contractor cards, and other character and antecedent checks, any involvement or links of an applicant with narcotics syndicates must be explicitly mentioned in red ink, SSP Anantnag has ordered.
