Srinagar, April 20 -- Several National Conference leaders, including Health Minister Sakeena Itoo and her cabinet colleague Javed Ahmad Dar, visited a hospital here to inquire about the health of Khazir Mohammad Sheikh, the ailing father of Lok Sabha MP Sheikh Abdul Rashid.

During her visit to SMHS Hospital, Itoo met the attending doctors and medical staff to receive a detailed briefing on the condition of the patient.

The minister directed the Principal GMC and Medical Superintendent to provide best possible medical care and ensure that all necessary facilities and specialised care are extended to the patient without delay.
