Srinagar, Nov. 8 -- The weatherman on Saturday said that Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness a spell of rain and snowfall from November 12 onwards as a Western Disturbance is expected to affect the region.

An official of the Meteorological Centre Srinagar said that weather is expected to remain generally dry on November 8 and 9, while generally cloudy conditions are likely to prevail on November 10 and 11.

"Light spell of rain over plains and light snowfall over higher reaches at scattered places is expected towards the evening or night of November 10," he added.
