Jammu, July 21 -- Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Sunil Sharma on Monday visited flood-affected areas of Poonch and Rajouri districts and urged the administration to expedite relief, rescue and rehabilitation measures.

Sharma, accompanied by a BJP delegation comprising former J&K BJP president Ravinder Raina, MLA Sham Lal Sharma, Dr Shehnaz Ganie, Gopal Mahajan, MLA Mohan Lal and Zorawar Singh, interacted with affected families and assessed the situation on the ground.

According to a party statement, Sharma listened to the grievances of the affected residents and expressed concern over the losses caused by the recent floods.
