SRINAGAR, June 22 -- Leader of Opposition and senior BJP leader Sunil Sharma on Sunday accused the ruling National Conference of legitimising outsourcing and backdoor appointments, asserting that government jobs should be filled through a transparent and merit-based recruitment process.
Describing outsourcing as a major issue affecting employment opportunities in Jammu and Kashmir, Sharma said the practice of engaging manpower through private agencies instead of regular recruitment channels reduces opportunities for educated youth seeking government jobs through competitive examinations.
