Srinagar, April 11 -- The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast light rain and thunderstorm activity across parts of Jammu and Kashmir till tomorrow, with weather expected to improve and remain largely dry thereafter.

According to the five-day forecast issued on Saturday, most districts in Kashmir are likely to receive light rainfall on April 11, with scattered precipitation continuing on April 12. The intensity of rainfall is expected to remain in the light category.

The advisory indicates the possibility of thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds reaching speeds of 30-40 kmph at isolated places on April 11.
