JAMMU, March 2 -- In the wake of killing of Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and subsequent mourning processions in Srinagar and other areas of Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha held a review meeting in Jammu today on the security situation across the UT of Jammu Kashmir.

Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo, DGP, Nalin Prabhat, other senior officials and all DCs and SSPs attended the meeting, a Lok Bhawan spokesman said in a statement issued here today.

The spokesman said that LG appealed to all communities to uphold peace as it is 'our collective responsibility.
