JAMMU, July 3 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday flagged off a Mobile Medical Care Unit supported by HDFC Bank Limited under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, HDFC Parivartan, to strengthen healthcare delivery in Ramban district.

The Lieutenant Governor appreciated HDFC Bank for the initiative, which will operate in the Jammu division for 27 months and complement the region's public health infrastructure.

The mobile unit will function on a roster-based schedule, delivering doorstep primary healthcare services through a team comprising an MBBS doctor, a Community Health Officer, nursing staff and a community mobiliser.
