Leh, May 24 -- The fifth day of Ladakh Astro Week 2026 witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, astronomy enthusiasts and local residents during a series of expert talks, interactive sessions and stargazing activities.
The programme began with a talk by Stanzin Norlha, who explained various aspects of the solar system, planets, stars and celestial bodies in an engaging manner.
Another presentation was delivered by Dorje Angchok of the Indian Astronomical Observatory, who spoke about the nightscapes of Ladakh and the region's suitability for astronomy and astrophotography.
