KULGAM, Oct. 15 -- Property cards were distributed among rural landowners from different tehsils of Kulgam district under the SVAMITVA scheme on Thursday, as Deputy Commissioner Shahzad Alam directed revenue officials to expedite pending surveys, Farmer ID generation and other revenue-related work.
The programme, held at the Mini-Secretariat in Kulgam, reviewed the implementation of the Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas (SVAMITVA) initiative, which uses drone-based mapping to establish property records and provide rural households with legal records of ownership.
