SRINAGAR, Sept. 7 -- A 13-member media delegation from Kerala has begun a seven-day press tour of Jammu and Kashmir aimed at providing journalists with first-hand exposure to developmental initiatives, infrastructure projects and other activities in the Union Territory.
The tour, organised by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Kochi, is being held from September 6 to 12.
On the first day of the visit, the delegation toured the Press Information Bureau office in Srinagar, where Director PIB Srinagar Quazi Salman welcomed the journalists and briefed them on the media and communication landscape in Kashmir. He also interacted with the visiting journalists and shared information about the functioning of the bureau in the region.
