SRINAGAR, Sept. 22 -- Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Sujit Kumar on Monday chaired a high-level meeting to review the security grid in Srinagar and discuss measures to ease traffic congestion at key bottlenecks across the city.

The meeting, held at the Police Control Room (PCR) Kashmir, was attended by senior officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Traffic Police, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and intelligence agencies.

Officials briefed the IGP on the prevailing security situation in their respective jurisdictions and shared suggestions aimed at strengthening security arrangements and improving traffic management.
