CHENNAI, Sept. 15 -- A media delegation from Srinagar on a five-day exposure tour to Chennai on Tuesday visited the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-Madras), where members interacted with the institute's leadership and gained insights into its research, innovation and startup ecosystem.
The delegation held detailed discussions with IIT-Madras Director Prof V. Kamakoti and senior faculty members during the visit.
Officials briefed the visiting journalists about various initiatives and programmes being undertaken by the institute and its Centres of Excellence in areas such as agriculture, healthcare, education, artificial intelligence, quantum technology and aerospace engineering.
