Tangmarg, May 15 -- A journalist associated with Early Times Jammu was injured after a rotten tree fell on him in the Tangmarg area of Baramulla district on Thursday evening.

The injured has been identified as Obaid Malik, son of Bashir Ahmad Malik and a resident of Kreeri Tangmarg.

According to reports, the incident occurred around 6 pm when Obaid Malik was travelling on his motorcycle near Darul Uloom Qazipora.

A rotten Cairo tree suddenly fell on him, causing serious injuries.

Locals immediately shifted him to Sub-District Hospital Tangmarg, where doctors referred him to Government Medical College Baramulla for advanced treatment.
