New Delhi, Aug. 3 -- Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on Sunday reviewed the implementation roadmap of the Ujh Multipurpose Project (MPP) in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district and directed officials to expedite work so that the project benefits reach people at the earliest.

During a meeting with officials of WAPCOS Ltd., the Government of India undertaking implementing the project, the minister was informed that the project would be executed in phases, with work commencing while acquisition of the remaining land continues simultaneously.
