SRINAGAR, Oct. 14 -- Union Minister for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences Jitendra Singh on Tuesday backed efforts to develop a Sustainable Mountain Development Policy for Jammu and Kashmir, saying scientific research must translate into practical solutions to address the region's environmental and developmental challenges.
