Baramulla, Aug. 8 -- Agriculture, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Javid Ahmad Dar on Saturday attended the final of the Legends Cricket League at Safi Sports Stadium, Rohama, and called for greater participation of youth in sports.

The title clash was played between Irfan Sports Legends, Rohama and TNC Legends, Taleemngner, drawing a large gathering of players, sports enthusiasts and local residents.

Addressing the gathering, Dar praised the organisers for promoting cricket and providing a platform for young talent. He said sports play an important role in channelising the energy of youth towards constructive activities and helping them stay away from social evils.
