POONCH, Aug. 14 -- Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology and Environment and Tribal Affairs Javed Ahmed Rana on Friday met several delegations and public representatives in Surankote and Poonch and heard issues related to development and public infrastructure.
The delegations highlighted concerns regarding the availability of essential public services, infrastructure development and the pace of ongoing works in their respective areas.
They also sought the government's intervention for restoration of roads, water supply schemes and other infrastructure damaged in recent flash floods and landslides.
