JAMMU, Aug. 6 -- Six Wushu players from Jammu and Kashmir won 16 medals, including 10 gold, five silver and one bronze, at the Batumi Open International Wushu Tournament held in Batumi, Georgia, from July 30 to August 4.

The athletes represented India after qualifying through the national selection trials held in Dehradun in April and competed in Taolu events in the junior and sub-junior categories.

Aahan Sharma won two gold medals in Daoshu and Gunshu and a silver in Changquan. Dhruvika Gupta secured gold medals in Wing Chun and Double Dagger, while Hiranya Mahajan won gold in Changquan.
